  • How long will my edit take to complete?
To give an exact estimation on how long each edit will take is a very hard task. There are so many variables that go into editing a session, specifically newborns (is the baby naked or wrapped, do they have good skin, etc) With all this is mind we like to estimate around 10 images per hour, however this can vary depending on the SOOC provided and what the photographer would like to be achieved in the edits.

AN EDITING APPOINTMENT IS NOT A PHYSICAL APPOINTMENT it is simply a way to keep track of your images & when they are being edited.

If you do wish to book multiple session with us down the track you will always have the same editor editing your photos! We do this so that your images remain consistent and so that you can have that one on one contact and relationship with your editor instead of jumping around to a bunch of different people!

Emails reminders to submit your images are sent out prior to your editing appointment. If there is a reason why you cannot provide your images within this time frame, please contact us at team@ipastudios.com
  • How are my images returned?
All images are returned in .jpg. If you wish to have your images returned in another format, please discuss directly with your editor.
  • Why do I need to provide notes with my gallery?
We ask for editing notes to make sure you get exactly what you want out of each session edit. The most important thing we need to know from your editing notes are things we would not have known without being told (parents requests, unwanted or wanted marks and specifics). For example: “The parents have asked to have their belly tucked and for the mark above dads’ eye to be removed. They have also asked for all body flakes on baby to be kept as is” CLICK HERE to see an example of editing notes.
  • How specific do I need to be with my notes?
The more specific the better! This allows your editor to get an understanding of your likes and dislikes when it comes to your images! As time goes on notes can be refined as your editor will automatically pick up on how you like things! The one thing that we ask is always noted are things we would not have known without being told.
  • What do I do if I would like something changed or refined once I have received my images?
Invoice that are paid within 48 hours are subject to a free 1-hour revision session on any images if needed. If there is something that you would like changed or fixed simply contact your editor directly who will complete your request ASAP.
